That’s a link to a 12 second MP3 file from where I’m sitting. Anybody else?

The link on the front page only gives you 12 seconds. The link on this page only gives you a few seconds.

Ben, could you please post one or two paragraph summary of important points/observations. Thanks.

But of course HAL and IBM being only one letter apart was purely a coincidence. :D

I’m listening to it off the webpage and having no problems. Ben you sound great!

Nah - Ben is Dave and the REIC is HAL :D

Dave Bowman: Hello, HAL do you read me, HAL?
HAL: Affirmative, Dave, I read you.
Dave Bowman: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.
HAL: I’m sorry Dave, I’m afraid I can’t do that.
Dave Bowman: What’s the problem?
HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Dave Bowman: What are you talking about, HAL?
HAL: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Dave Bowman: I don’t know what you’re talking about, HAL?
HAL: I know you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I’m afraid that’s something I cannot allow to happen.
Dave Bowman: Where the hell’d you get that idea, HAL?
HAL: Dave, although you took thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.

Same here on all points. Great to finally hear your voice, Ben. Eloquent, yet folksy. Good thing you’re not taking the opposing viewpoint and working for the NARA; you might convince me to go out and buy a house!

Good interview Ben, you’re getting smoother and more aggressive a few more and maybe the MSM will get the hint and have you on CNBC… You and Schiller can tag team and sock it to the a$$hats. That my friend would be pure joy to watch.

Ben:

Thanks for the link. Very interesting
and informative interview.

It’s nice to know that media outlets such as this station are
blocking out extended time periods (in this case 31 minutes)
for interviews such as yours.

Hope to hear/see you on other media outlets.

Suggestion:

Would it be possible to archive interview file “community_focus.mp3″
on the HBB server? Further, as you do more interviews (either audio
or video) they could be also be archived so future HBB readers
can find your interviews in one convienent location.

Ben,
Someday…it would serve the American public better, in general, to have you on the 15 second sound bite at NBeeC than that butt face Cramas$

Are you listening Brian Williams?

You could just say: “It’s a financial mania…DON’T buy a house at these prices” …what 5 seconds?…to speak the self-evident truth?…of course, you’d be laughed at…because every person/business with a connection to the $$$$$$$$$ dollars generated by housing …would be reminding you that: Housing prices ALWAYS goes up…and you better buy today or else be priced out… like…FOREVER! ;-)

Individual & Family Financial Destruction in America… via …The most “educated” economic society ever created on earth that produced:
“Financial loans of creative innovation” that showed the world how exactly to bring “homeownership” to the huddled poor & suffering & disadvantaged citizens into the “ownership society” by the millions. :-)

You know President Nixon’s father bought and built a house from Sears…What Wal-Mart can’t find the business model for that type distribution? ;-)

Any plans to get face to face with city council members about letting the developers run amok?

Palmdale is now at population 150K. Exactly how big does the city need to be?

If they elected me king I’d establish blanket zoning for all residential. 10 sq.ft. landscaped/zeriscaped lot for each 1 sq.ft. of residential construction with minimum lot size of 10,000sq.ft. If Palmdale ever (and they won’t) got to 95% utilization under that standard then and only then could you allow more density.

Take that recipe to the council and see how quickly they scamble out of the light to hide under the big bad developers outstretched cloaks.

It was obvious you knew more than J6P and posed good questions. Ben’s answers were spot on. If you listeners really understood (they should) and take it to heart, you are one of the few sources (still rate) where people got the “real deal”.

We value Ben highly and am glad that you gave him 30 minutes to inform. Thanks.

Ben,

You made an excellent distinction between the liquidity v. credit crisis. That distinction is worth noting regardless how obvious it might be to some.
