Trump calls off Chicago rally following violent clashes
2 hours ago
From the section US Election 2016
Protesters clashed with Donald Trump’s supporters in Chicago

Donald Trump has called off a rally in Chicago after protests against the Republican presidential front-runner led to violent clashes.

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the venue at the University of Illinois at Chicago hours before Mr Trump was due.

Inside the auditorium, fighting broke out between supporters and protesters, who waved flags and chanted.

A statement from Mr Trump’s campaign said the candidate decided to postpone the event after meeting with police.

Comment by Raymond K Hessel
2016-03-12 06:26:19

They weren’t “violent clashes.” Violent thugs forcibly stopped Trump and his supporters from exercising their Constitutionally-protected liberties.

From an eyewitness: “More than that, I feel that I experienced today, for the first time in my life, true totalitarianism and authoritarianism, expressed laterally from citizen to citizen, in order to silence opinions from being shared. This enforcement was shared through sheer numbers and intimidation, and in a few cases, violence.”

Professor Bear, you’ve showed what side of the line you’re on. So noted.

There’s a belief that, when Republicans complain about totalitarianism and authoritarianism, they’re complaining about big government. Maybe they just enjoy throwing words like that around.

Comment by The Central Scrutinizer

The key to understanding is that they redefine the words constantly to service their ‘reality.’ This is easy because they never learned the actual definition to begin with.

MightyMike, you’re too much of a dipsh*t to speak for yourself, let alone for Republicans. We know precisely what words like “totalitarianism” and “authoritarianism” mean, and we know precisely why the Founding Fathers gave us the Second Amendment.

It’s been pointed out time and time again that you and your ilk have a strange fondness for words that end in -ist and -ism. In a few months we’ll be able to celebrate the eight year anniversary of the time when the word socialist suddenly became so popular among people who don’t know what the word means.

Similarly, totalitarianism and authoritarianism haven’t been used before to refer to civilian protesters. Maybe this will be a new trend. It’s possible that there will be a new vocabulary associated with the Trump phenomenon.

Comment by Raymond K Hessel

Totalitarians deploy brownshirts, Red Guards, hired thugs, and similar dobermans to physically attack, intimidate, and eventually round up their ever-growing list of “enemies of the people” for prison camps or mass executions. If we had real investigative journalists that would follow the money trail, it would lead right back to the collectivists and oligarchs who want unlimited power.

But a dolt like you never sees the hidden hand behind these “spontaneous” acts of mass thuggery.

‘Chicago Tribune’ Backs Marco Rubio, But Turns Back On Democrats
March 9, 2016
Erin Staley

Senator Marco Rubio just picked up a major endorsement, but it may not help his dwindling presidential prospects. On February 9, the Chicago Tribune tapped Rubio as their pick for president. But in a move that will shock Democrats, the Tribune refused to back either Democratic candidate.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the 2016 presidential primary race is a minefield. Voters in both parties are disillusioned with government and want a change. But the same gripes that unite voters in both parties also separate them. Republican voters, the Tribune says, want smaller, cheaper government.

Of a Trump or Cruz presidency, the Tribune paints an ugly picture. To explain their refusal to endorse Donald J. Trump, the newspaper turned to former candidate Mitt Romney.

“Mr. Trump is directing our anger for less than noble purposes. He creates scapegoats of Muslims and Mexican immigrants…. He cheers assaults on protesters. He applauds the prospect of twisting the Constitution to limit First Amendment freedom of the press. This is the very brand of anger that has led other nations into the abyss.”

Cincy Trump rally canceled; clash at Chicago event

Jason Williams, jwilliams@enquirer.com
9:04 p.m. EST March 11, 2016

Donald Trump is no longer planning a rally in Downtown on Sunday afternoon.

The Secret Service security supporting the GOP presidential front runner’s campaign could not complete its preparation work in time to hold the event at the Duke Energy Convention Center, said Eric Deters, a local spokesman for Trump’s campaign.

“Trump wants to come here, and the campaign is still looking to find a location for either Sunday or Monday,” Deters said.

Another rally scheduled for Friday in Chicago was postponed because of safety concerns. Supporters and protestors clashed at a campus arena where the rally was supposed to take place.

Hours before the Chicago event was scheduled to start, hundreds of people lined up outside the arena at the University of Illinois at Chicago – a civil and immigrant rights organizing hub with large minority student populations. Trump backers were separated from an equally large crowd of anti-Trump protesters by a heavy police presence and barricades.

Trump’s next stop is Dayton on Saturday morning. For now, it will be his only Southwest Ohio appearance ahead of next week’s primary. The event is scheduled to be held at Dayton International Airport.

There appears to still be openings in Trump’s schedule on Sunday and Monday. Trump is scheduled for Sunday events in Bloomington, Illinois, at 10 a.m. and Boca Raton, Florida at 6 p.m., according to his campaign website.

Trump Blames Sanders for Disrupting Chicago Campaign Rally
Last Updated: March 12, 2016
Katherine Gypson and Ken Schwartz

Secret Service agents surround U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a disturbance as he speaks at Dayton International Airport in Dayton, Ohio, March 12, 2016.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is blaming Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders and his supporters for what he says was a planned disruption that forced him to cancel a Chicago rally Friday night.

Fights broke out among several Trump supporters and opponents before police cleared the crowd. Many of the protesters chanted “Bernie, Bernie” and waved Sanders signs.

Police made five arrests.

Campaigning Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio, Trump mocked the socialist senator from Vermont as “our communist friend.”

“Where do these people come from?” Trump asked. “They’re Bernie’s crowd. Hey, Bernie. Get your people in line, Bernie.”

Trump complained that the Chicago demonstration was “professionally done” and accused protesters of keeping him from exercising his First Amendment right to free speech.

Sanders issued a statement Saturday denying his campaign organized the protests and blaming Trump’s harsh rhetoric for provoking attacks by Trump supporters.

“What causes the violence at Trump’s rally is a candidate that has promoted hatred and division against Latinos, Muslims, women and people with disabilities and his birther attacks against the legitimacy of President Obama,” the Vermont senator said.

First hand account of the Chicago incident:

https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/4a2bu9/what_really_happened_at_the_chicago_rally_my/

“Obviously I did not see everything that occurred as I wandered the protest grounds outside the cancelled Chicago rally. What I did see, however, was fear. Fear from the rally attendees for their immediate safety, and fear of Donald Trump from the protesters.

More than that, I feel that I experienced today, for the first time in my life, true totalitarianism and authoritarianism, expressed laterally from citizen to citizen, in order to silence opinions from being shared. This enforcement was shared through sheer numbers and intimidation, and in a few cases, violence.

People brought their children, loved ones, and friends to attend the Trump rally. I saw an older Asian man and his white wife in attendance, and the looks on their faces when the rally was declared cancelled almost broke my heart. I saw scared children clinging to their parents’ sides as they exited the building to the screams of protesters. I saw a quiet, but excited crowd of Donald Trump supporters get thrown out of Chicago.

Worst of all, I saw the first amendment trampled, spit on, and discarded like trash.

This cannot go on. As I finish this, I feel a sense of utter dread and hopelessness for what is becoming of the youth in this country, particularly those of the regressive left. So polarized has political opinion become, that dissenting thoughts on college campuses are now seen as hateful. These people deal in absolutes. They are right, and whatever means they must take to achieve their ends, they will do it. They will not stop themselves from violence or censorship. They will do it, and they will call hell down upon you if anyone dare does upon them the same.

Tonight I went to the Trump Rally to hear the thoughts of not only the man who was supposed to come and speak, but the people who support him. I found respect. I found calmness. I found peace.

The truth is, I am a legal immigrant, not a US citizen. I am not American. I am not white. I cannot vote.

After tonight, I support Donald Trump.”

Soros Funded MoveOn.org Takes Credit for Violence in Chicago

A precursor to activity the organization will engage in as as the election approaches

Kurt Nimmo | Infowars.com - March 12, 2016

Ilya Sheyman, a failed Illinois contender for Congress and the executive director of MoveOn.org Political Action, has taken credit for the violence at a cancelled Trump event last night in Chicago. He promised similar violence and disruption will occur at future Trump political events leading up to the election.

“Mr. Trump and the Republican leaders who support him and his hate-filled rhetoric should be on notice after tonight’s events,” on the George Soros funded MoveOn web page. “To all of those who took to the streets of Chicago, we say thank you for standing up and saying enough is enough. To Donald Trump, and the GOP, we say, welcome to the general election.”

MoveOn has consistently functioned as a lobby group for the policies of the Obama administration, including the disaster of Obamacare and the continuation of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the escalation of the war on terror that has turned America into a police and surveillance state. In 2007 it backed a bill trotted out by then Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to continue financing the occupation of Iraq.

The group acts as a front for wealthy Democrats. It was founded with the help of the financier George Soros who donated $1.46 million to get the organization rolling. Linda Pritzker of the Hyatt hotel family gave the group a $4 million donation.

Many of the Democrat and “progressive” candidates supported by MoveOn have failed to be elected since the organization was formed in 1998.

The violent demonstration in Chicago on Friday may represent a precursor to the sort of activity the organization will engage in as it tries to “shut down” its political enemies and elect either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.

On Friday night many of the protesters shouted “Bernie!” and held placards announcing their support for the socialist Democrat.

What really happened at the Chicago rally - My Firsthand Account
reddit.com | 3/11/16

At 2:30 p.m., I arrived at the Donald Trump rally located at the UIC pavilion in Chicago, IL. There was light police presence at the Blue Line station, and the pavilion was short walk away. There I waited in line for about an hour until making it to the front doors, going through a security scanner, and finding a seat in the main hall.

The first protestors began around 5:30 when two young white males pulled off their coats to reveal t-shirts with anti-Trump slogans. At this point I noticed the police presence inside the rally was a mere 8 police officers, bolstered with hands-off event staff.

Before 6:00 p.m., a man spoke on the microphone and requested that rally attendees do not touch or harm protesters who interrupt the event. He reminded the protesters that Donald Trump supports the first amendment as much as the second.

Following this was a string of smaller incidents, such as people holding up improvised signs and shouting. One entire bleacher row was filled with protesters and they began chanting and throwing around torn up signs. A few people who began standing up and screaming, and were slowly escorted out by police. The police kept leaving the protesters unattended throughout this, taking 4-8 officers to escort protesters out one at a time.

A black man in a black jacket ran up to the front stage, bumped into the podium, and attempted to speak, but was wrestled down by two men in suits. As they escorted him through the crowd, he took a swing at a Trump supporter. The men escorting him were incredibly gentle and restrained themselves from using any force. Then voice came on and declared that the event was postponed. A few minutes later, they informed us that Trump had landed in Chicago and spoken to Chicago Police officers, and that due to safety concerns, the rally was canceled.

At this point, the protesters began to descend into chaos. Aside from a few mild “TRUMP” and “USA” chants, the Trump supporters were mostly quiet and bewildered as the protesters began to scream, chant, and run around the main floor area in a huge pack, flipping off the rally attendees and swearing at them. There were a few tense altercations between the two groups, but from what I saw at this point, no violence.

The rally was instructed to leave the pavilion, and I have to admit, the Chicago Police messed up bad here. We walked straight out of the building and into enormous packs of protesters screaming at us, with little police presence to protect the Trump supporters.

Many of Trump propaganda signs, most commonly depicting him as Adolf Hitler, but others showing him with a small penis, simple signs of text English and Spanish, signs. Young women shouting anti-white racial epithets.

A single white Trump supporter who held up a sign and stood quietly as three dozen people surrounded him, smiling and screaming, snatching and pushing at him until he had to run for police cover. Someone grabbed his American flag and threw it on the ground and he fought to recover it. The police escorted him away.

Two young men, perhaps 17-19, standing quietly as they waited for a ride home. They were wearing their MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN hats, looking terrified as people cursed and swore at them, and occasionally threw furious challenges for debate. The two young men held their ground. Only once did one of those hats come down, and it quickly went back on again.

A general atmosphere of pleasure and happiness from the protesters. A common chant was “WE WON!” and “WE STOPPED* TRUMP!” It honestly felt like a social event for the protesters. There was plenty of mingling

Plenty of shouts at Trump protesters that Trump and his supporters are not welcome in Chicago. I challenged one on the first amendment. He said he does not consider himself an American and continued insulting the grizzled old white man he was arguing with.

Extremely inefficient police presence. The cops were lined up on their horses or standing behind barricades, but generally were not present where Trump supporters were being hounded and occasionally struck by protesters. The protesters were primarily composed of millennial-aged: white hipsters, African Americans, Hispanics, and Muslims. Some of the protesters were teenagers below voting age.

The protesters flew a big set of American, Mexican, and Puerto Rican flags. There were lots of small American and Mexican flags too. *The Trump supporters mostly fled for safety immediately. You have to understand, they were outnumbered by thousands of protesters.

Plenty of chants for “BERNIE! BERNIE! BERNIE!” Some Trump supporters looked at each other in bewilderment. “But Bernie Sanders isn’t even running against Donald Trump,” was the common sentiment.

More than that, I feel that I experienced today, for the first time in my life, true totalitarianism and authoritarianism, expressed laterally from citizen to citizen, in order to silence opinions from being shared. This enforcement was shared through sheer numbers and intimidation, and in a few cases, violence.

Worst of all, I saw the first amendment trampled, spit on, and discarded like trash.

Oh look - the only candidate who wants to kill the H-1B Visa program.

A program in which nearly all HBBer could agree needs to be done away with.

Which is why the liberals and progressives here will oppose Trump…

———-

What Is The H-1B Visa, And Why Does Donald Trump Want To Kill It?
International Business Times | 03/11/2016 | BY PAUL MCDOUGALL

Republican presidential candidates sought to outdo each other in Thursday’s debate when it came to reforming the H-1B visa, a controversial program through which Silicon Valley giants like Facebook, Apple and Hewlett-Packard import skilled help from India and other countries with vast pools of low-cost tech talent on tap.

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump said the H-1B hurts American-born workers and said that he would end it outright. Marco Rubio said the program needs to be better policed, while Ted Cruz simply said the U.S. needs to update its immigration laws for the 21st century.

“I know the H-1B very well … We shouldn’t have it; it’s very, very bad for workers,” said Trump, with Cruz on his left and Rubio on his right during the CNN-sponsored debate, the last before crucial primaries next week in Florida, Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina and Missouri. Rubio said that if a company is caught abusing the H-1B, “they should never be allowed to use it again.”

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has taken the opposite stance, saying she is in favor of expanding the number of H-1Bs made available annually. Clinton’s position allies her with a tech industry that claims there is a critical shortage of U.S.-born tech workers. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, whose calls for more protections for American workers helped him to a stunning upset over Clinton earlier this week in the Michigan primary, has called for higher wages for H-1B workers so that employers are not tempted to use them to replace Americans.

The range of positions isn’t surprising. The H-1B has been steeped in controversy ever since a Democrat-controlled Congress created the program in 1990 to give employers a means to hire foreign tech workers at a time when “startups” like Apple and Microsoft were creating the personal computing revolution. Most recently, Disney drew fire last year for replacing American information technology workers at its Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Fla. with H-1B workers from India supplied by contractors HCL and Cognizant. Publicity around the case has put a program that for many voters remains obscure in the national spotlight. “With the Disney story, more and more people are understanding that something is wrong,” said Ron Hira, a political scientist at Howard University who has testified before Congress on the H-1B issue.

On the other side are those who insist that there is no tech worker shortage, and that companies are exploiting the visa program to import cheap labor. Under the program’s rules, employers must pay H-1B workers at parity with their U.S. counterparts, but Howard University’s Hira said that’s not happening. Typical salaries for H-1B workers in Silicon Valley “are well below market rate,” he said. Hira maintains that H-1B visa holders are typically 25 percent cheaper to hire than Americans.

Given the stakes, it’s a sure bet the H-1B program will remain a hot political issue beyond the primary season. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are their parties’ most likely nominees, and their positions on the topic could not be more opposed. Expect Trump to cite Clinton’s support for the H-1B program as proof of his contention that she’ll side with big business over workers.

—————–

Just when you think Democrats can’t sink any lower, a story like this from a VA union leader hits
Coach is Right | 3/11/16 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

During a recent radio interview, a Democrat Veterans Administration Hospital union leader, who is now ashamed of herself, admitted she lied about letting sick veterans die to avoid giving Republican Congressional investigators information they could use against Democrats.

In a sad admission of guilt and placing her allegiance to the Democrat Party over the very lives of sick men and women who have turned to the Veterans Administration for healthcare, former VA hospital union president Germaine Clarno lamented “If I would’ve gone to him two years ago, who knows what kind of lives could’ve been saved?”

Clarno, a lifelong Democrat and social worker at Hines VA hospital in Hines, Illinois was referring to Florida Congressman Jeff Miller, the Republican leader of the House Veterans Administration subcommittee.

She was the president of the hospital’s union of doctors during a clearly avoidable, deadly wait-time scandal that took the lives of innocent sick veterans.

Over the span of this scandal dozens of veterans died needlessly due to inordinate waiting times at multiple VA hospitals around the country. This cruel abuse of patients led to the death of some 40 veterans in a Phoenix facility which came to light in 2013.

After the 2008 death of the founder of Carl’s Jr. — the ubiquitous California fast-food restaurant chain — the Orange County Register published an obituary that captured the one-time spirit of the state: “Carl Karcher, the Ohio farm boy with an eighth-grade education who turned his $326 investment in a hot dog stand into a multimillion-dollar fast food empire, died Friday afternoon. He was 90.” For decades, this was a place where anyone could earn a fortune.

Earlier this week, Carl’s Jr.’s parent company (CKE Restaurants) announced it would relocate from Ventura County to Nashville, Tennessee. The company issued a bland statement. It is “re-franchising” many of its company-owned locations. “As such, early next year we will be consolidating our Carpinteria and St. Louis corporate offices in Nashville, which is centrally located and is one of the markets where we have retained company-owned restaurants.”

In 2011, I reported on a California Chamber of Commerce event, where CKE Chief Executive Officer Andrew Puzder “complained about the permitting process here, where it takes eight months to two years to open a new restaurant compared to an average of 1 1/2 months in Texas.” Then there are all those lawsuits, and work rules that force companies to pay overtime based on daily, rather than weekly, hours. He was mulling a move to Texas then.

Granted, CKE is moving its headquarters, not its restaurants. But the point is well-taken. There is a cottage industry here that denies industrial-era work rules and a maddening regulatory process make any difference to business owners. The idea that there’s a business exodus is just right-wing nonsense, they insist, and they point to research purportedly showing that businesses aren’t really leaving.

They can argue high taxes, regulation, and unionization are good for the economy. But if you were an Ohio farm boy today with $300 in your pocket, would you try to make your fortune in California or, say, Tennessee?

The Geography of Trumpism

By NEIL IRWIN and JOSH KATZ MARCH 12, 2016

When the Census Bureau asks Americans about their ancestors, some respondents don’t give a standard answer like “English” or “German.” Instead, they simply answer “American.”

The places with high concentrations of these self-described Americans turn out to be the places Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has performed the strongest.

This connection and others emerged in an analysis of the geography of Trumpism. To see what conditions prime a place to support Mr. Trump for the presidency, we compared hundreds of demographic and economic variables from census data, along with results from past elections, with this year’s results in the 23 states that have held primaries and caucuses. We examined what factors predict a high level of Trump support relative to the total number of registered voters.

The analysis shows that Trump counties are places where white identity mixes with long-simmering economic dysfunctions.

The places where Trump has done well cut across many of the usual fault lines of American politics — North and South, liberal and conservative, rural and suburban. What they have in common is that they have largely missed the generation-long transition of the United States away from manufacturing and into a diverse, information-driven economy deeply intertwined with the rest of the world.

“It’s a nonurban, blue-collar and now apparently quite angry population,” said William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution. “They’re not people who have moved around a lot, and things have been changing away from them, but they live in areas that feel stagnant in a lot of ways.”

Mr. Trump has his share of support from the affluent and the well educated, but in the places where support for Mr. Trump runs the strongest, the proportion of the white population that didn’t finish high school is relatively high. So is the proportion of working-age adults who neither have a job nor are looking for one. The third-strongest correlation among hundreds of variables tested: the preponderance of mobile homes.

Trump counties include places that have voted for both Republicans and Democrats, and the strongest predictors of Trump support include how a county responded to two very different third-party candidates: Trump territory showed stronger support for the segregationist George Wallace in the 1968 election than the rest of the country, and substantially weaker support for the centrist former Republican John B. Anderson in 1980.

Your new neighbor in the ‘burbs? A millennial. Yes, really
Diana Olick
Wednesday, 9 Mar 2016 | 10:14 AM ET

It was only a matter of time. Literally. As millennials grow older, get married, have children, they are seeking out bigger houses and better schools. That means the suburbs. They are also getting tired of paying higher urban rents and watching those rents rise.

Just 17 percent of millennials bought homes in urban or central city areas, according to an annual survey by the National Association of Realtors, which sent out a questionnaire last July to roughly 95,000 homebuyers. That urban share came down from 21 percent in the previous survey.

“The median age of a millennial homebuyer is 30 years old, which typically is the time in life where one settles down to marry and raise a family,” said Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the Realtors. “Even if an urban setting is where they’d like to buy their first home, the need for more space at an affordable price is for the most part pushing their search further out.”

Chicago Rampage Leader is “Sanders Surrogate”

Effort to deny Trump free speech organized by Sanders supporters

Infowars.com - March 12, 2016 196 Comments

CBS News identifies Ja’Mal D Green as one of the leaders of the violent protest that shut down the Donald Trump rally in Chicago on Friday.

Many of the protesters responsible for the cancellation were Bernie Sanders supporters. One of the leaders of the protest was a Sanders surrogate, 20-year-old Ja’Mal D Green, who describes the night as a “win.”

“Our whole purpose was to shut it down,” Green said.

He told CBS News he was not alone in planning the event.

NBC News also quoted Green and said the violence “was largely organized by supporters of Sanders, the Democratic presidential candidate who has struggled to win over black voters but whose revolutionary streak has excited radicals of all racial demographics.”

People For Bernie ‎@People4Bernie

Remember the #TrumpRally wasn’t just luck. It took organizers from dozens of organizations and thousands of people to pull off. Great work.
8:08 PM - 11 Mar 2016

People for Bernie collects donations for the candidate. Last May it joined other groups—including remnants the Occupy movement and Democratic Socialists of America—in support the candidate. Democratic Socialists of America is a spin-off from the Socialist Party of America.

Sanders has yet to denounce the Friday storming of the Trump event.

On Saturday Donald Trump blamed Sanders for the mob action that shut down his rally.

“They were taunted, they were harassed by these other people—by the way, some represented Bernie, our communist friend,” Trump said during an event in Dayton, Ohio. “With Bernie, he should really get up and say to his people, ‘stop, stop.’ Not me.”

Infowars.com reported today Ilya Sheyman and MoveOn were also responsible for the attack that denied the frontrunner his First Amendment right of free speech.

On his Facebook page today Green said he “woke up to a lot of love” after the rampage.

He informed Trump, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez the mob that stormed the Chicago Pavilion runs the city.

In February Green admitted working directly with Bernie Sanders:

“jeff, do you have any info on how I can check to see if my early vote got recorded properly?”

I’m sorry but I do not.

Last week I heard Joyce Kaufman say she knew of several people who had changed their party affiliation in plenty of time from Democrat or Independent to Republican so they could vote in primary and when they tried to vote it had not been changed so they couldn’t. So far that’s the only problem I have heard.

I guess there’s been some of that switching going on elsewhere too.

Why are voters changing their party affiliation this election cycle?

By Rebecca Shabad CBS News March 11, 2016, 4:01 PM

Since the beginning of the year, nearing 50,000 registered Democrats in Pennsylvania have switched to the Republican Party and as many as 20,000 Democrats in Massachusetts have made the same move in their state.

Several recent reports have highlighted these party affiliation switches in key states, with some suggesting that Donald Trump is responsible for driving this exodus. The GOP presidential frontrunner often claims that his campaign has attracted tons of Democrats and independent voters, but are people leaving their parties in droves because they approve of his policy positions?

“It’s unclear whether voters are switching parties to vote sincerely or to vote strategically, but we do see evidence that they’re switching,” said Costas Panagopoulos, a professor at Yale University this year, who also teaches at Fordham University, and studies voter behavior.

Trump Has a Major Image Problem With Hispanics

by Frank Newport

Story Highlights
•Trump has 12% favorable, 77% unfavorable image among Hispanics
•Trump has become better known, but more disliked since summer
•Rubio, Kasich and Cruz have much more positive images among Hispanics

PRINCETON, N.J. — Presidential candidate Donald Trump has a major image problem among U.S. Hispanics, with 77% saying they view him unfavorably and just 12% viewing him favorably. This gives Trump by far the most negative image among Hispanics of any of the four Republican candidates. He also has a much more negative image among Hispanics than the two Democratic candidates.

This latest update is based on Gallup Daily tracking data collected Jan. 2-March 8. When Gallup started tracking the candidates in July and August of 2015, Trump was not quite as well-known as he is now. However, his image was already very negative, with 66% of Hispanics viewing him unfavorably and 14% favorably. As he has become better known among Hispanics, his image has worsened.

The major factor most likely contributing to Trump’s image deficit among Hispanics is one of the first highly publicized controversies of his presidential campaign in June, when he called for building a giant wall along the Mexican border. He also characterized Mexicans coming into the U.S. as drug traffickers and rapists. Since then, Trump’s strong and controversial stances against other immigrant groups may have reinforced the ill will among Hispanics, the majority of whom immigrated to this country within the last several generations.

Here is a very short list of some of the main points that expose Donald Trump for who and what he is, followed by some links:

- He is in favor of the freedom and liberty destroying Patriot Act.

- He supports the NSA’s data-mining of the American people.

- He is in favor of torture.

- He is in favor of killing the families of “terrorists” - most of which are not actually nor terrorists because of the whole “war on terror” hoax.

- He freely and publicly stated that US soldiers would commit war crimes under his direction.

- He is in favor of and completely supports the the war on terror hoax - especially in the Middle Eastern world under the guise of not even Muslim terrorism but just the Muslim religion. (Note: I am not defending and/or supporting Islam. I’m fully aware that Allah of the Koran is satan.)

- He strongly supports the idea of ignoring the Constitution in other ways, besides the aforementioned, by bragging on how he would use unconstitutional executive orders.

- He says that states should not own land and that the federal government should own that land.

- He is a huge supporter of imminent domain (the government being able to take land as they choose to do so).

I could go on, but those are some of the most important basics.

As for Trump and the Clinton family, here is an excellent article on this subject from one of the greatest journalists out there Melissa Dykes (formerly Melissa Melton).

Trump was unimpressed with waterboarding, a banned interrogation tactic that he has pledged to bring back against suspected terrorists and supplement with far worse forms of abuse. “Is it torture or not? It’s so borderline,” he said. “It’s like minimal, minimal, minimal torture.”

Trump Calls for Apple Boycott Over Encryption: Good Luck with that, Donald
by Kurt Nimmo

In early January of 2015, Donald Trump’s name was revealed to have been included in known pedophile and child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s “little black book”. Taken from this (http://theantimedia.org/one-question-the-media-refuses-to-…/) link:

“When the story broke, Trump’s spokesman told Gawker, “Mr. Trump only knew Mr. Epstein as Mr. Trump owns the hottest and most luxurious club in Palm Beach, and Mr. Epstein would go there on occasion.” With that, the media backed off the story and forgot about the Trump connection. The Donald officially launched his campaign on June 16, 2015. By that point, the topic had long since been buried under more sensationalist headlines and talking points. Hopefully, someone out there on the campaign trail will have the courage to ask Donald Trump to clarify his connection to this despicable situation. For what it’s worth, I encourage everyone to ask ALL the candidates tough questions and stop accepting their words as gospel.”

Then, in November of 2015, newly released court papers revealed that as a lie and that Donald Trump actually had dinner at Jeffrey Epstein’s house and that he traveled with him on his private plane.

An interesting thing to note is that Trump has alluded to Bill Clinton’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and Trump and Bill Clinton used to be close friends. Bill Clinton has been tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s selling of underage females to rich men and women for sex.

Donald Trump really said this: “I like the Obamacare mandate”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIDi2wlgZN4

I’ve seen through his nonsense from day one and that was cemented in stone a few days ago when he was talking about the loyalty of his supporters.

I would implore everyone to pay very close attention at about 30 seconds into this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REALBgU-o6U
) video where he states again “they will not go away”.

I don’t think the producers of this show (meaning the entire election dog and pony show/production) factored in just how disillusioned people are and how desperate statists are for candidate who accurately represents them. I’m certain that this was planned to try to lend more credence to democrats to make the election more easily rigged for Hillary.

Has America begun to wake up to the angry, chaotic wave of violence that lies in store if we make the collective error of choosing Trump’s hateful politics of ethnic, racial and religious division?

America’s enemies are rooting for Trump. A house divided cannot stand.

I know. Amazing how you think someone is decent and they worship Trump to a fanatical in-denial extreme level.

I have talked to almost nobody who is nutty for Trump. And this includes lots of long-time Republican voters.

I just watched the end of True Grit a 1969 John Wayne film.

Funny thing, at the end when they roll the credits the first one is thanks to the Corporation of the United States.

It seems clear that Trump staged the Chicago violence to garner a “sympathy vote” plus to legitimize having his own squad of thugs attack protesters at his future campaign events.

Wait for it!

Trump cannot t be both conniving enough to stage a violent protest at his own campgin event—and a coward who cancels his campaign event due to the threat of violence; yet who have accused him of both incompatible things. Which is it?
